Grand Master Brett Homann and Sensei Kim Homann make up a very dynamic couple.  They excel both as martial artists and are a success story given the popularity of Homann Karate Do.  The depth of their instruction and exciting karate programs appeal
to children and adults alike.  They both have won numerous awards in competition, nine karate hall of fames, and awards as professional business owners.  Sensei Brett has been featured in Black Belt magazine, Inside Kung Fu, American Karate, Action Martial Arts magazine, Times Business magazine, and a cover story in Karate Profiles.  Grand Master Homann is also a renowned international competitor and represented the US Karate Team for 8 years!  Grand Master Homann lives for competition.  His proudest moments are competing on the US Karate Team and earning his Doctorate of Martial Arts Philosophy; Phd.  Grand Master Homann geared his competition energy into opening is own Karate school with his wife in 1995.  Which has been a huge success.

1987 age 16  Nationals 3rd Place. 
                    USA Jr. Karate Team at Japan Championships:
                    1st Team Kumite, 2nd Team Kumite, and 3rd Ind. Kumite (12-3 record)
1988 age 17  Nationals 5th Place in 22-34 year old Kumite. 
                    Youngest Athlete on the Adult Team.
1989 age 18 Caribbean Championships, Costa Rica:
                    1st Place 75 Kilo kumite, 1st Place Open Weight Kumite, and 2nd Place Team Kumite
1990 age 19  Nationals 1st Place.
                    Pan American Championships Brazil: 5th Place Kumite and 5th Place Team Kumite
1991 age 20  Pan American Championships Curacao:  5th Place Kumite and 4th Place Team Kumite
1992 age 21  Dominica Republic: 1st Place 75 Kilo Kumite and 2nd Place 80 Kilo Kumite
                    Greek National Team VS Usa Karate Team Springfield Illinois:
                    Usa 1st Place and Homann was given the honor of Most Valuable Person Award
