I currently have 5 children enrolled at HKD. They range from Little Ninjas to Black Belts. Over the years, I have seen them transformed from being painfully shy and distract able to Junior Olympic Competitors. I credit Sensei Brett and Sensei Kimmie with this transformation. They are amazingly patient and always positive. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found Sensei Brett, who is not only a world class competitor, but a world class coach!

Our daughter Jenna has learned so much more than karate from her classes with Sensei Brett and Kimmie. She has learned respect, dedication, discipline, listening skills, and teamwork. Sensei Brett and Kimmie are great with the kids and are caring, fun, and patient with their teachings. Jenna will take these lessons throughout her life, and that we are grateful!

For four years, my son has had the privilege of being a student at Homann Karate Do. Is he learning the sport of karate by a team of professionals dedicated to bringing out the physical, mental, and social best of their students. He has learned to respect himself, his peers, and his teachers. He is learned to set goals and achieve them. When I signed him up, I expect him to learn karate and make a few friends. The confidence, the life lessons including the drive to succeed were rewards I had not anticipated through the sport. We have all three of our children in karate. Our oldest has been at Homann Karate Do for almost 8 years. The program isn't just about teaching karate. Kids learn about discipline, self-esteem, teamwork, and how to be great examples and leaders. Our kids have learned about self-respect and respect for others. It is a great program.
